Soladey J3X will be available in 2012 if the Prototype testing completes successfully. We had been testing a J3X model that was to be introduced late 2008. There were a few design challenges with this earlier version and so we have come up with a stainless steel handle to replace nickel/chrome handle. Mid 2011 we decided to add some new colours/tones to the handle (including trendy black/white). We are also adding a more attractive brush protector and etching a new name on the handle. Soladey Eco will continue to be sold after the introduction of J3X to world markets. Both Eco and J3X are two distinct products.

It is important to note here that Soladey-3 (we have many enquiries about this version) is the Japanese domestic market version of J3X. Soladey-3 is produced in China under Japanese supervision. J3X is produced in Japan. Japanese people traditionally hold toothbrush handles differently than we do in the Western countries. As such, the handle of Soladey-3 required re-designing to accommodate these differences for our export market. The handle on J3X is much longer and wider than Soladey-3. The increased length of the J3X handle allows the solar panel not to be covered by the hand whilst brushing. In turn this allows light to reach the panel on the J3X which would normally be obscured on the Soladey-3 version!

Soladey Eco provides a simpler approach to dental hygiene, and is designed for use in environments where there is a good source of natural or artificial light, and especially for use in the summer months and for traveling (camping) as it is light and compact. Eco also accents the idea of choice with 7 handle colors available. This is useful in large families where individuality is a concern.

Soladey J3X introduces a modern design as well as providing a perfect solution for users who have low lighting environments - especially in northern climates during the winter months. J3X adds hybrid or dual source ionic action by converting light directly - as with Eco - from the semiconductor rod, and, also from the solar panel. Clinical trials have shown the efficiency of this brush to combat plaque and restore oral hygiene with truly impressive results!
